Healthlogistics specialises in electronic purchasing solutions for the NHS and private healthcare sector. Our services are designed to improve efficiency in healthcare purchasing which in turn will save money and improve patient experience through more accurate stock control. Our range of activities covers:

·         Obtaining product and price data from suppliers and wholesalers to the NHS and private sector

·         Working with the suppliers to bring their data up to the quality standard required

·         Ensuring that the data passes stringent validation testing when we upload it into our HL-hybris system

·         Customising the data so that it can be easily downloaded by NHS Trusts etc and does not have to be re-keyed or reformatted

·         Providing the data to NHS Trusts via the web so that contract prices and items can be used by their nursing and supplies staff to electronically requisition and order products

·         Sending electronic order information from NHS Trusts to suppliers and wholesalers

·         Integrating our HL-hybris system with those of suppliers so that they can receive orders in their sales order processing system without having to re-key or reformat the data

·         Creating electronic invoices.

We currently have more than a million items of product data from more than 400 suppliers. By the first half of 2010 we expect to have about two million items from 1,000 leading suppliers and wholesalers.

Our data is used by leading NHS Foundation Trusts such as King’s College Hospital, Sheffield Teaching and Chelsea & Westminster. These and other Trusts rely on our data to provide them with high quality product, price and contract information.
